Oil prices fall below 61 usd a barrel
LONDON AFX - Oil prices fell on mild winter weather in the United States, a major consumer of heating oil and gasoline. At 12.12 pm in London, light sweet crude contracts for February delivery dropped 62 cents to 60.43 usd a barrel in electronic trading on NYMEX.

Oil prices ease in Asian trade
SINGAPORE, Jan 3 (AFP): Oil prices eased today as Asian trade resumed for the New Year in a market focussed on mild North American weather. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in February, slipped 18 cents to 60.87 dollars a barrel from 61.05 dollars in late US trades Friday.
